Russian Chamber of Navigation marks the 25th jubilee
FSUE “Rosmorport” congratulates the Russian Chamber of Navigation on the 25th anniversary of its creation.
For 25 years the Russian Chamber of Navigation has successfully defended and promoted the interests of marine and river transport on the national and international levels, facilitated the renovation of the fleet and improved the image of the navigation as a whole.
One of the priorities is to create favorable conditions for navigation business in Russia in strict compliance with the requirements of navigation safety and maritime traffic.
As a generally recognized platform for a dialogue between business communities and public institutions the Russian Chamber of Navigation makes invaluable contribution to forming up regulatory base without which it is impossible to develop marine and river transport. The joint work made by Russia’s Transport Ministry, Rosmorrechflot and the Russian Chamber of Navigation will allow for resolving many issues in the field of tax and customs legislation and the supervisory activity.
Cooperation between the Russian Chamber of Navigation and national and international regulators of the shipping industry yield its results. There are the industry’s needs in new professions and technology. The standards of professional education increase. Due to active cooperation between the organization and state and scientific expert institutions the transport potential of the country develops.
The Russian Chamber of Navigation has an influence upon the authorities, the market and the transport public opinion. As of today the organization is an important structure, which unites 81 enterprises of the industry. FSUE “Rosmorport” joined the chamber in 2011.
Workers of marine and river transport value the chamber’s attention to upholding the fleet traditions. It has always striven to high navigation standards. Every year the organization confirms its motto “Traditions and Standards”.
