Competitive admissions of the My Port 2019 project summed up

The organizing committee of the My Port project summed up the results of competitive admissions on May 7, 2019. Totally, 250 girls and boys took part in the competitions. From March 4 to April 19, 2019 children confirmed their achievements, carried out creative tasks. A total of 184 schoolchildren aged from 11 to 17 from different cities of Russia gained the upper hand. They will take part in FSUE “Rosmorport” thematic shifts at the best children’s centers located on the coast of the Black Sea and the Sea of Japan.

Fifty winners of the competitions will visit the Artek international children’s center from August 7-28, 2019. The children will take part in an entertainment program “The Sea – Romanticism – Profession”.

One hundred of the project participants will undergo training under a program of extended education “The Sea is a Vector of the Future” at the Orlyonok children’s center.

For the first time thirty-four winners of the competitive admissions will take part in the thematic shifts “The Origins of Maritime Brotherhood” and “The Sea and the Man” and receive new knowledge in the field of maritime activities at the Okean children’s center from July 18 to August 7 and August 11-31, 2019 respectively.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” thematic shifts of the My Port project are aimed at educating the younger generation and popularizing maritime professions, and support maritime traditions. 

Children will have ultimate experience at children’s centers where they will be able to get new skills and knowledge, have fascinating adventures and journeys, as well as make new friends.

For some children it will be an interesting experience and for others it will be a start for the future profession.
