FSUE “Rosmorport” Deputy General Director for Fleet Sergey Sergey Kurov made a working visit to the Sakhalin Branch on September 18-21, 2017.

During the trip, Sergey Kurov inspected technical maintenance of the Branch's vessels. The deputy director general assessed the readiness of the dredging convoy, including the Stvor self-propelled hopper, the Farvater trailing dredge and the Viktor Olenich tug boat. Jointly with the Sakhalin Branch Acting Director, Yuri Semenov, Sergey Kurov also made an assessment of technical maintenance of the Vostok and Dobrynya tug boats.

In addition, the visit included inspecting the organization of watchkeeping and duty shifts on vessels, keeping ship documentation and the readiness of crews for acting in different situations.

Upon completion of the trip Sergey Kurov held a working meeting with the management of the Branch and employees of services responsible for the fleet maintenance. The inspection recognized the technical state of vessels as satisfactory. The participants in the meeting discussed a series of proposals to optimize technical maintenance of the fleet.
