On August 9-10, 2017 FSUE “Rosmorport” Executive Director Andrei Lavrishchev and Deputy General Director for navigation safety Viktor Vanyukov visited the Vanino Branch.

During the visit, they made an overall inspection of the key activities of the Branch in the first six months of 2017. The meeting was focused on constructing a VTMS building in the port of Vanino, providing of the Vanino Branch with towing fleet, making corrections to passports of hydraulic engineering structures and carrying out repairs of hydraulic engineering structures by tenants.

Andrey Lavrishchev had a working meeting with the head of FSBI “Administration of the Sea of Okhotsk and Tatar Strait” Nikolai Tatarinov and the captains of the seaports of Vanino and Sovetskaya Gavan, Andrei Shatko and Sergei Fomin, to discuss navigation safety and prospectsd for the development of the seaports of Vanino and Sovetskaya Gavan, as well as issues to provide pilotage on Amur River from the seaport of Nikolayevsk-on-Amur.

In the course of the working trip, Mr. Lavrishchev also met with Director-General of JSC “Vanino Commercial Port” Yevgeny Dmitrakov to consider issues relating to the joint activities in the seaport of Vanino and capital repairs and the reconstruction of hydraulic engineering structures. He conferred with acting director-general of OJSC “Daltransugol” Vladimir Golgopolov. The officials inspected the facilities of OJSC “Daltransugol” and discussed their joint activities.
