The State Environmental Expertise drew a positive conclusion on FSUE  Rosmorport” project for carrying out dredging operations in the water area of the seaport of Kaliningrad up to 2024.

Annual repair dredging in the water area of the seaport and on the approaches toward it is conditioned by natural shoaling. Every year it is planned to withdraw 1,258 million cubic meters of bottom soil due to be placed at dredger stations and underwater dumps in accordance with the project documentation. In 2017-2024 the total amount of extracted soil will exceed 10 million cubic meters

The Kaliningrad Seaway Canal, inner harbors of the seaport of Kaliningrad (Volnaya and Industrialnaya), approaches toward dredger stations, terminals and berths of the seaport form part of the facilities subject to repair dredging operations.

Production ecological monitoring is envisaged within conduction of dredging. The implementation of the project will make it possible to ensure safe movement of vessels to berths and terminals of the seaport of Kaliningrad.
