The FSUE “Rosmorport” management and directors of the enterprise branches met in Murmansk on April 3, 2017 to discuss the results of the enterprise’s activities in 2016 and draw up long-terms plans for the year of 2017.

The meeting was attended by deputy head of the Russian Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport Nadezhda Zhikhareva.

In his report devoted to the results of the enterprise's activities in 2016 General Director Andrey Tarasenko noted positive dynamics of FSUE “Rosmorport” efficiency factors. The enterprise's revenues have increased by 8.9% as compared with the year of 2015 and made up 22.6 billion rubles. Overall cargo turnover has also increased. Transshipment in seaports made up 722 million tons which is 6.6% higher than the indicators of 2015 (677 million tons).

The meeting attendees also listened to the reports given by the deputies of General Director, the heads of directorates of the central office, the directors of the enterprise branches. The reports were focused on the results of the enterprise activities for the accounting period.

The participants in the meeting determined the major goals and tasks for the year of 2017 and the mid-term plans till the year of 2019. Maintenance and development of the port infrastructure to ensure positive dynamics of cargo transshipment in Russian seaports is one of the priorities for the upcoming period.

Works on maintaining navigational parameters of hydraulic navigation facilities (canals and water areas) in the seaports were planned.

Tasks to increase the effectiveness of exploitation of the fleet were discussed at the meeting.

A traditional awards ceremony was held within the annual meeting.

Sergey Shestakov, head of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Directorate for Transactions with Property, has been awarded with the letter of gratitude on behalf of the Russian Deputy Minister of Transport and the head of the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport for the successful work and the years-long conscientious activities in the system of sea transport.

Konstantin Tugin, head of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Directorate for the Fleet Maintenance, has been awarded a commendation on behalf of the FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director.
