On March 31, 2017 an inter-regional meeting focused on restoring cruise service in the Black Sea region was held in Novorossiisk.

The meeting involved Minister of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar Territory Khristophor Konstantinidi, Novorossiysk City Administration Head Igor Dyachenko, FSUE “Rosmorport” Executive Director Andrey Lavrishchev, FSUE “Rosmorport” Deputy General Director Oksana Gubina, LLC “Black Sea Cruises” Director Yevgeniy Berkov, representatives of law enforcement agencies, city administrations of the Black Sea region and the tourism sector.

A project for upcoming sea service was presented to the participants in the meeting. The  administrations heads of Kransodar Territory and the Republic of Crimea spoke about the readiness of the cities for accepting passengers of the new cruise line. The participants in the meeting discussed tourism possibilities and sightseeing programs around the cities of the Black Sea region. Special attention was paid to prospects for attracting foreign tourists. Business representatives stressed the need to determine a common tour operator of the route.
