On this day a ceremony of the first call by the Christophe de Margerie Arctic liquefied natural gas tanker was held in the seaport. The port is being constructed on the principles of state private partnership. As of today the port is the largest infrastructural project in the Arctic Region. FSUE “Rosmorport” will take part in conducting dredging operations to build the sea channel and the port's water area. In addition, the enterprise will build ice barriers and the coastal port infrastructure. In order to ensure navigation safety the enterprise is planning to build a vessel traffic movement system and aids to navigation.
