On March 29, 2017 opening ceremony of the IV International Arctic Forum “The Arctic Region – Territory of Dialogue” was held. The aim of the forum is to connect the efforts of the world communities for the efficient development of the Arctic Region.

FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko took part in the solemn opening ceremony.

In the course of the forum its participants will discuss strategic options for the development of the Arctic transport infrastructure and logistics, provision of transport availability for residents and cargo in the arctic territories, as well as international cooperation for the provision of safe arctic navigation.

International Arctic Forum “The Arctic Region – Territory of Dialogue” has been conducted since 2010 and is a largest area for the joint discussion of challenging issues and the perspectives of the development of the Arctic region with offshore partners. This year the forum will be held from March 29 to 30. 1,5 thousand of people from Russia and other countries are expected to attend it.
