On February 3, 2017 FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko took part in the visiting meeting headed by Chair of the Government of the Russian Federation – Russian Presidential Envoy in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation - Head of the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport Viktor Olersky, Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot Nadezhda Zhikhareva and FSUE “Rosmorport” Petropavlovsk Branch management.

The meeting discussed issues related to the completion of the passenger ship terminal, the implementation of overhaul works of the berth No.5 and the possibility of mooring the cruise ships with length up to 214 meters at the berths No. 4, 5, 8-r in the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Also, working meetings with the Chief of the Border Department of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation on the eastern Arctic region Roman Tolokom and the Chief of Kamchatka customs of the Far Eastern Customs Administration of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Vladimir Karpov were held on the question of arrangement of checkpoint across the state border of the Russian Federation in the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
