In accordance with Rosprirodnadzor Order dated 06.12.2016 No. 1188, licence No. 77.99.15.002.L.000004.01.14 dated 22.01.2014, previously issued to FSUE “Rosmorport” for carrying out activities in the field of use of Ionising radiation (generating) sources (except cases when these sources are used in medicine), was re-issued.

The changes in the licence are related to extension of geography of such activities carried out by the enterprise. In particular, in addition to the seaports of Sochi and Novorossiysk, where the enterprise manages x-ray units for luggage and goods inspection, the enterprise has installed the corresponding x-ray equipment in the seaports of Vyborg and Murmansk.

With the use of it, in order to ensure transport safety on transport infrastructure facilities of the enterprise, passengers’ luggage and carry-on baggage inspection is planned to be performed in the seaport of Vyborg at “Prichal No. 1” (Berth No. 1) passenger terminal, and in the seaport of Murmansk passengers’ luggage and carry-on baggage inspection will be performed in the building of the recently reconstructed maritime station at the distance lines pier.
