On December 5, 2016, FSUE “Rosmorport” Executive Director Andrey Lavrishchev visited the Magadan Branch of the enterprise.

During the working trip, he held a working meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Magadan Region Government Igor Ozimok and the Management of FSBI “Sea of Okhotsk and the Tatar Strait seaports administration” Nikolai Tatarinov on issues of organization of icebreaking escorts of vessels in the seaport of Magadan during winter navigation of the 2016-2017 period.

The meeting was attended by the FSUE “Rosmorport” Magadan Branch Management, representatives of stevedoring and port agency companies, as well as JSC “Magadan Commercial Sea Port”. There were discussed issues of organization of vessels navigation in ice in the seaport of Magadan, the order of formation of convoys for icebreaker escort, particularities of procedures of vessels port calls during the winter navigation.

Besides, the meeting participants discussed the procedure of work of the Commission (Headquarters) of icebreaking escorts and readiness of the operators of cargo terminals, towing companies, pilotage service and VTS for operation in ice conditions.
