Within the X International Forum “Transport of Russia”, on December 1, 2016, in ceremonial atmosphere FSUE “Rosmorport” and LLC “Container terminal NUTEP” signed an agreement on cooperation in the project “Port of Novorossiysk. Southeast cargo area (SECA). Revision of the general development plan. Berth No. 38”.

The agreement provides for cooperation between the parties in the design and construction of port infrastructure created within the project.

Project implementation is envisaged by the Roadmap of Development of seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin till 2020, approved by the Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev, and will increase the capacity of the seaport of Novorossiysk by 3.5 million tons due to commissioning of new high quality and competitive facilities.
