On November 30, 2016, awarding ceremony of winners of award for achievements in the field of transport infrastructure was held within “Transport of Russia – 2016” exhibition.

This year, the winner of “Best innovative solution in the field of transport facilities” nomination became Sommers dredger with hold capacity 1,000 m³.

The dredger is one of three TSHD project dredgers with hold capacity 1,000 m³, constructed for FSUE “Rosmorport”.

All vessels of the line are equipped with the necessary high-efficiency dredging equipment suitable for the climatic conditions of the regions of their operation.

Sommers is equipped with outboard multifunctional submersible groundwater pump of “DOP 200” type for works with sharp sand and gravel. The vessel is equipped with clamshell crane, which extends possibilities for dredging in the restricted areas, and “Ice 1” ice class of the vessel allows for operation in conditions of ice brush with thickness up to 0.4 mm.

The Construction was carried out on modern and high-technology Russian shipyard – “Krasnoe Soromovo” Plant” OJSC.

The “Traffic Formula” Contest was established in 2014 by the Public Council of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and was aimed at promotion of development of transport infrastructure, as well as encouraging of public and private organizations for solving important problems of the transport sector.
