On November 26, Nadezhda sailing training ship (STS) arrived in the seaport of Baltiysk sea terminal. Cadets of Sedov Institute of Water Transport – Branch of FSBEI HE “Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University” passed sailing practice under the sails of the legendary sailing ship.

The speakers at the official greeting ceremony were: Deputy Head of the Navigation Safety Department of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch Kaliningrad Department A. Gorodishtyan, Advisor to the Governor of the Kaliningrad Region on Transport Issues A. Klyuneev and other officials.

Certificates of Honor were given to the vessel crew: Nadezhda STS Master S.Vorobiev, Senior Assistant to Master A. Sadovoy, Chief Engineer V. Kozlovsky, as well as heads of practical training: D. Skachkov, B. Dudko and P. Efimov.

In the nearest future, Nadezhda STS will head for the seaport of Kaliningrad for planned repair, where it will stay till March 2017.

During the planned works, modernization of cabin, replacement of console and navigation equipment will be performed on the frigate.
