Four Icebreakers Join the FSUE “Rosmorport” Fleet
On November 14, 2016 transfer of Admiral Makarov, Magadan, Kapitan Khlebnikov and Krasin icebreakers to FSUE “Rosmorport” was held in Vladivostok.
Act of acceptance and transfer was signed by FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko and Head of the Territorial Department of Federal Agency for State Property Management in the Primorsky Territory Yuriy Belenets.
Use of the icebreakers is planned both in the Far Eastern Basin – in the seaports of Vanino, Magadan and Prigorodnoe, and on other water areas, depending on navigational condition in winter navigation. Their tasks will include operations on icebreaking escort of vessels on water areas and approaches to the seaports.
