On September 30, 2016 within the XV International Investment Forum “Sochi-2016” FSUE “Rosmorport” and Novorossiysk Municipality Administration signed an Agreement on Cooperation in the seaport of Novorossiysk facilities reconstruction.

The Agreement envisages cooperation of the parties when reconstructing passenger berths No. 34, 34A of the Coastal pierhead in the port of Novorossiysk and their subsequent operation for servicing cruise liners.

The project envisages extension of berth No. 34 to 288 l. m. with deepening bottom marks to up to 7.5 m, extension of berth No. 34A to 149 l. m. with bringing bottom marks to -4.7 m, as well as provision of these berths with necessary engineering infrastructure and navigational aids (NA).

The project implementation will create favorable conditions for further development of passenger transport in the Black Sea region, and will contribute to the development of the tourism cluster in Novorossiysk.
