On September 19-20, 2016 the FSUE “Rosmorport” Deputy General Director for Fleet Sergey Kurov paid a working visit to the Makhachkala Branch of the enterprise.

During the working trip, Sergey Kurov together with the Branch representatives inspected the Branch dredging Fleet. The Deputy General Director for Fleet inspected the progress of repairing and technical condition of vessels, assessed their preparation to operation. Then he inspected the progress of dredging works conducted by the soil excavation complex system (DOP-200) on berth No. 6.

In 2016 the Branch plans dredging in the volume of 456 thousand m3. Currently, dredging is carried out by Deltovaya self-propelled barge and the DOP-20 complex system, as well as by Sommers dredger. Dnestr dredger will join the dredging works soon.

Besides, Sergey Kurov conducted working meeting with the Branch management. During the meeting there were discussed issues of prompt completion of repairing enterprise's vessels and performing dredging works in the seaport of Makhachkala water area with the use of the FSUE “Rosmorport” equipment.
