On September 13, the “Laboratory of EARTH and WATER” established under socially oriented innovative educational program “Roza Vetrov” (Rose of Winds) was officialy opened. The laboratory is a contribution of the enterprise's partner session to the material and technical equipping of the “Artek” International Children's Center (ICC).

Thanks to FSUE “Rosmorport”, the Artek school obtained everything needed for experimentation and study of water and soil: scientific instruments, chemical reagents, laboratory glassware, equipment for laboratory research (masks, gowns, gloves).

According to experts of the World Ocean Museum (Kaliningrad) and the Institute of Marine Biological Research of the Russian Academy of Science (Sevastopol), which helped children to learn and compile a scientific manual on a professional level, the most valuable things are unique samples of soil and water from coastal areas of the Russian Federation collected and brought by the winners of the “Roza Vetrov” competition .

Teachers of the school and experts of the International Children's Center believe: young researchers of the field-oriented session of FSUE “Rosmorport” has made a worthy contribution to the generation of new knowledge for the next generation of Artek children.

FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko received a letter of gratitude from the Artek ICC school director Natalia Tsarkova for his contribution to the younger generation educational activities.
