FSUE “Rosmorport” and PAO “Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard” signed act of transfer and acceptance of the TSHD 1000 project Kronshlot dredging vessel.

The dredger was launched on June 8, 2016, then passed mooring and sea trials before being sent to the port of destination – the seaport Big Port of Saint Petersburg. In October 2016 the dredger will start dredging in the responsibility area of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch.

Kronshlot is one of three dredging vessels with a hold volume 1000 m³. The first vessel of this project Sommers was launched on January 29, 2016. In order to expand the field of application, all vessels are equipped with a series of outboard multifunctional submersible groundwater pump of “DOP 200” type.

Vessel project was approved by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and meets the requirements of the regulatory and supervisory authorities of the Russian Federation.

According to the contract terms, FSUE “Rosmorport” acquires the right to use the design documentation for the construction of vessels under this project at Russian shipyards. Moreover, the works production technology has already been transferred to the “Krasnoye Sormovo” plant, where the Russian shipyard staff passed training in construction technology and got the developed and agreed with the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping project of the vessel.
