From September 6, 2016 in Hamburg there was held a leading industry International Exhibition of Shipbuilding, Machinery and Marine Technology (SMM-2016).

In the event FSUE “Rosmorport” was represented by the head of development and construction management of the Fleet Vladimir Shtrambrand. During the exhibition he held a number of meetings and negotiations with foreign companies, and discussed the possibility of localization of marine equipment at Russian shipyards.

SMM is one of the leading industry forum, which is held since 1963 and gathers representatives of shipyards, shipping companies, design companies, suppliers of marine equipment and systems, and services in the field of marine technology industry on its site.

The main objective of the exhibition is to give participants possibility to exchange the latest information and the latest products and technologies in marine services.

Besides, this year within the exhibition there will be held the Global Maritime Environmental Congress (GMEC) with the participation of more than 700 leading representatives from industry, government, academia and tourism.

The exhibition devoted to the marine theme will be open to the public until September 9, 2016.
