Within the Eastern Economic Forum an Agreement on cooperation in shipbuilding was signed between FSUE “Rosmorport” and OAO “Far Eastern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center”.

The document was signed by General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” Andrey Tarasenko and Chairman of the Board of Directors of OAO “FESRC” Andrey Shishkin.

Within the agreement FSUE “Rosmorport” plans designing and construction of ice-class vessels on the basis of “Zvezda” shipbuilding complex. Besides, FSUE “Rosmorport” considers prospects of plant capacity utilization for construction of a series of icebreakers capable of operating in the Arctic region.
