On August 31, 2016 an official ceremony of completion of construction of new berth constructed within the project of the third stage construction of the “Vostochny Port” JSC coal terminal was held in the seaport of Vostochny. During the event, there was held a bollard filling, which completes the creation of hydraulic engineering construction.

The official ceremony was attended by Deputy Head of Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport Zhikhareva Nadezhda, General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” Andrey Tarasenko, Acting Director of the Far Eastern Basin Branch Nina Osipova.

Implementation of this project will stimulate development of trade turnover between the Russian Federation and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region and will create the necessary port facilities for increasing exports of Russian coal.
