On August 24-25, 2016 FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko, Deputy Director Aleksey Nemkov and other representatives of the enterprise paid a working visit to Makhachkala.

The enterprise management inspected the progress of dredging works in the approaching canal of the seaport of Makhachkala, examined the VTS and GMDSS facilities complex, and met with FSUE “Makhachkala Commercial Seaport”.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” Head together with the Makhachkala Branch Director Apandi Nurmagamedov visited ZAO “Sudoremontny zavod” (a closed joint-stock company), where they inspected the process of repair works of Deltovaya-10 and Deltovaya-11 hopper barges.

Besides, a working session with the Dagestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, where the seaport of Makhachkala development prospects were discussed, was held on August 25, 2016.

The day before, the FSUE “Rosmorport” management met with the Republic of Dagestan Government Chairman Abdusamad Gamidov and Derbent City Administration Head Malik Bagliev.

The meeting participants discussed the issue on Yacht Club construction in the city of Derbent located on the coast of the Caspian Sea.

Creation of the sailing center will make possibility for yachtsmen of Russia, neighboring countries of the Caspian basin and Europe to visit the city, and it undoubtedly will become a powerful push to the development of tourism business at the international level.
