On September 2, 2016 in the House of Moscow Government in Moscow there will be conducted the V All-Russian Conference “Transport Security and Counter-terrorism Technology-2016”, within which a wide range of issues on exercising of current legislation on transport security taking into account the amendments adopted as well as an exchange of practical experience and technology to ensure transport security and counter-terrorism in the current economic climate will be discussed.

The conference is held with the support of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

In order to prepare for the conference, an organizing committee meeting chaired by the Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia Nikolai Zakhryapin was held on July 28 at the Ministry of Transport of Russia.

In addition to representatives of the Russian Ministry of Transport, Rosmorrechflot, the Russian Interior Ministry and other government bodies, the meeting of the organizing committee was attended by Advisor to the Deputy General Director for Safety of FSUE “Rosmorport” Dmitry Kondrashov, as well as representatives of ANO “Transport Directorate-2018”, OAO “Aeroflot” OAO “Russian Railways”, FSUE “Atomflot”, PAO “Sovcomflot”, airports “Vnukovo” and “Sheremetyevo”, SUE “Moscow Metro”.

At the meeting of the organizing committee there were considered process of preparation to the conference, an indicative list of the issues, probable Presidium and moderators of the breakout sessions composition.
