On August 3, 2016 FSUE “Rosmosport” Executive Director Andrey Lavrischev, attended a meeting chaired by aide to the President of the Russian Federation, secretary of the National Council, Igor Levitin, that took place in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

During the meeting there was a discussion on the implementation of the Presidential instructions of November 9, 2015 and data based on the results of National Council presidium meeting concerning development of fisheries industry in the Russian Federation.

The previous day Executive Director held a meeting with the administration of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalinsk Branch to discuss the issues of operating business, ferry complex reconstruction in the seaport of Kholmsk and strategies of maintenance dredging optimization.

As a part of the visit, negotiations with the deputy Minister of Transport of Sakhalin Oblast Gennady Kotlikov, regarding port infrastructure and logistic chains of fish production supply development from the Sakhalin Island.
