On July 26, 2016 FSUE “Rosmorport” filed an application for participation of Nadezhda Sailing Training Ship in the SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta 2016 competitions.

 In the coming days, the application will be approved by the International Association of Sail Training Vessels, and then Nadezhda will officially become a participant of the regatta.

Currently, the sailing ship is proceeding from Vladivostok to the Black Sea. Over 100 cades of Nevalsky Maritame State Universiеy  are passing navigation practice on vessel’s board. Throughout the voyage, there are held trainings, which will allow the cadets to solidify their knowledge obtained in the university.

The second stage of the SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta is expected to be attended by another sailing ship of FSUE “Rosmorport” – Khersones.  

The vessel, on board of which a practice of 70 cadets of Maritime State Academy of Water Transport is planned to be held, will participate in the Russian stage of the race: from Novorossiisk to Sochi. Application for participation of the vessel will be filed till the end of July.

Currently, repair work are being finished on Khersones STS, in early August the vessel will start sea trials.
