On July 13-14, 2016 FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko conducted a number of meetings on issues of designing and construction of international cruise cargo and passenger terminal in the city of Pionersky of the Kaliningrad region, and also visited the site of the following construction works.

The meeting was attended by FSUE “Rosmorport” Deputy General Director for Capital Construction Aleksey Nemkov, the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch Director Sergey Pylin, FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch Deputy Director –  head of the Kaliningrad Department Andrey Moshkov and other specialists of FSUE “Rosmorport”, as well as Acting Head of the Pioneer City District Administration Oleg Kosenkov, Head of “Yantarenergosbyt” OAO Igor Makovsky and representatives of OOO “Morstroytechnology” design organization.

The meeting participants discussed issues on design, construction and organization of the connection and power supply of the future cruise terminal facilities in Pionersky, as well as issues on environment protection activities during the construction and operation of the terminal.

During the visit, there were held negotiations with Minister of Infrastructure Development of the Kaliningrad Region Government on the implementation of the agreement between FSUE “Rosmorport” and the region government on implementation of the project of construction of an international sea terminal for receiving cruise and cargo vessels in Pionersky.
