On July 15 Deputy Minister of transport of the Russian Federation – Рead of Federal Agency of Sea and River transport Viktor Olersky held a working meeting in the FSUE “Rosmorport” Astrakhan Branch.
The meeting was attended by Deputy head of Rosmorrechflot V. Vovk, head of FSBI “The Caspian Sea Seaports Administration” M. Abdulatipov, Deputy General Director for fleet of FSUE “Rosmorport” S. Kurov, head of FSUE “Rosmorport” fleet development and construction control V. Shtrambrand, Acting Director of the Astrakhan Branch of FSUE “Rosmorport” V. Gudkov, the Director of the Onezsky Ship Building and Ship Repairing Plant B. Mayzus.
The participants discussed implementation of the dredging plan in the water area of the Volga-Caspian Seaway Canal, alignment and efficient use of the dredging equipment, the problems of pilotage in the seaports of Astrakhan and Olya water areas. Also they visited new dredgers Peter Sablin and Sommers of the enterprise.

The experts exchanged views on issues of dredging vessels construction for FSUE “Rosmorport”, modern equipping, prospects and areas of their use.
