An operations meeting chaired by the FSUE “Rosmorport” Deputy General  Director for Navigation Safety Viktor Vanyukov was held in Novorossyisk on June 6-10. The meeting was organized by the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Directors of the branches for navigation safety, Heads of departments for technical supervision over the water area of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Branches and representatives of the FSBI “The Black Sea Seaport Administration” and captains of the seaports of the  Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch

During an intensive program, the meeting participants shared  operating experience in water areas of seaports, including  experience on addressing  contingency situations, implementation of safety management systems (SMS) on vessels and shore units of FSUE “Rosmorport”. And they also discussed the work on organizing pilot activities in seaports.

Within the meeting program the participants visited facilities of  surveillance technology (ST) over water areas in the seaports of Novorossyisk and Anapa and studied  capabilities of the Navi-Trainer Professional 5000 navigation simulator in F.F. Ushakov State Maritime University.
