On June 12, 2016 Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov jointly with Murmansk Region Governor Marina Kovtun visited the FSUE “Rosmorport” Murmansk Branch as a part of the working trip to Murmansk.

Within the trip's program the minister and the governor examined the sea terminal under reconstruction and studied progress of work.

Sokolov and Kovtun was shown photos depicting stages of the reconstruction of the terminal, as well as drawings of facades and interiors. The sea terminal is reconstructed within the federal target program “Russian Transport System Development (2010-2015)”. The reconstruction is planned to be completed in September 2016.
