General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” Andrey Tarasenko took part in the joint meeting of the Marine Board under the Government of the Russian Federation and Presidium of the State Commission for Arctic Development, which took place on May 24, 2016 in Arkhangelsk.

During the meeting there were discussed the priority projects on the territory of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and measures to ensure their implementation. In particular, the participants of the meeting discussed the project “Deep-water area of the Arkhangelsk Seaport” and integrated development of the Northern Sea Route. In addition, one of the main topics on the agenda were the activities of the Marine Board  under the Government of the Russian Federation and marine boards of the coastal regions on the implementation of the Maritime Doctrine of the Russian Federation.
