On April 25, 2016 the Governor of the Murmansk Region Marina Kovtun visited the FSUE “Rosmorport” Murmansk icebreaker.

During the visit the Head of the Murmansk region examined the command bridge and the vessel's premises, talked with the captain Yuri Ahromkin and crew members, and also left a note in the book of honorable guests.

“From the Murmansk government and citizens I wish happy navigation to Murmansk icebreaker and its crew! Easily passable ice, calm watches, successful operations on the Arctic tracks to you!” Marina Kovtun wrote.

Murmansk icebreaker is one of the newest icebreakers of 21900M project, which successfully passed ice trials on April 25, 2016.
