On April 20, 2016 in the central office of the FSUE “Rosmorport”  there took place a meeting of Deputy General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” Oksana Gubina with the delegation of the Hamburg Port Authority (Germany) headed by adviser of Ministry of Economics, Transport and Innovation Free and Hanseatic city of Hamburg, Mr. Rolf Bösinger.

The subject of negotiations was development of cooperation between FSUE “Rosmorport” and Port of Hamburg.

In 2013 in order to enhance cooperation in the exchange of information about plans of port infrastructure development and modernization, the organisation of exchange of knowledge in the field of personnel training, exchange of experience in using advanced technologies, and possible joint marketing initiatives and share data about market research, FSUE “Rosmorport” and Port of Hamburg signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The parties exchanged information about the current state and  development prospects  of port infrastructure of the Russian Federation and the Hamburg  Port and agreed to continue cooperation in this sphere.

The parties also discussed the possibility of introducing the  SMART-port system in the Russian Federation, allowing to optimize the logistic flows in the direction of the ports and to improve the efficiency of port infrastructure.

The delegation of the Hamburg Port Authority was also invited to visit the stand of FSUE “Rosmorport” on the 10th annual exhibition “Transport of Russia”, which is traditionally held in Moscow in December 2016.
