Mir sailing ship of FSUE “Rosmorport” left the seaport Big Port Saint Petersburg for the first training cruise of the year on April 16, 2016. More than 130 cadets of Admiral Makarov State University

In the course of practice they will learn the basics of using marine navigational devices, reading star maps, methods of starting and operation of engines and other machinery of the vessel. Also interns will study the basic structural elements of the vessel, international and national documents on safety of navigation and etc. The practice is to be completed by the middle of June 2016.
