Representatives of FSUE “Rosmorport” participated in the meetings of the  Education Board and the Expert Council of Seaports Captains of the Russian Federation, which took place on March 29, 2016 in Rosmorrechflot.

At the Education Board Meeting they discussed the organization of sailing practices academic semesters in 2016, and the measures taken to improve the performance of the universities by the end of 2015. The meeting also considered further algorithm of interaction of FSUE “Rosmorport” and educational institutions for the organization of shipboard training on the enterprise sailing ships Mir, Nadezhda and training ship Professor Khlyustin.

On the same day the meeting of the Rosmorrechflot  Expert Council of Seaports Captains took place. The main topic for discussion was the transfer of aids to navigation of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation to FSUE “Rosmorport”, as well as their subsequent maintenance by the branches of the enterprise. Today, the system of aids to navigation on the approaches and in the waters of the seaports of the Russian Federation where FSUE “Rosmorport” carries out economic activities consists of 3 429 units of visual aids to navigation. About 70% of them are under economic management of FSUE “Rosmorport”.

The meeting also focused on the results and statistics of port state control in the seaports of the Russian Federation for 2015 and the work performance of captains of seaports of the Russian Federation in compliance with order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation No. 226 dated July 23, 2015 “On approval of requirements for radar systems, vessel traffic management, the infrastructure facilities of the seaport necessary for the functioning of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System and for the safety of facilities and means of automatic information system, service for navigation control and management.”
