General Director of FSUE "Rosmorport" Andrey Tarasenko on February 25,  2016 paid a working visit to the Far Eastern Basin Branch of the enterprise. During the work trip he held a working meeting with the heads of branches of the region and representatives of “PriMorProektByuro”, LLC .

In particular, they discussed capital repair issues of the facility “Construction of berth No. 5” in  Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky seaport. The project envisages reconstruction of the berth to service passenger cruise ships in the port. The completion of the works is planned for the second half of 2016.

At the meeting they also discussed the reconstruction of the coastal constructions of the Vanino-Kholmsk road-rail ferry line. The ferry provides year-round delivery of passengers and necessary cargoes, consumer goods for the Sakhalin Region. Implementation of the project will contribute to increasing market competitiveness of cabotage transportation.
