During the period of 19 to 22 of January 2016, the delegation of FSUE “Rosmorport” headed by the General Director Andrey Tarasenko visited the People's Republic of China.

During the working trip, a number of business meetings with the representatives of the company CCCC Dredging Group Ltd was held, where the issues of the development of the port infrastructure of the Far East, as well as the prospective investment projects for the development of the Russian Federation ports infrastructure were discussed.

The programs for the development of the port infrastructure of the Far East, as well as of the Southern ports of the country, were presented to the Chinese colleagues. Following the meeting the parties have agreed to continue the discussion of the projects presented. In particular, the representatives of the Chinese company are planning to analyze the technical, economical and organizational aspects of the projects for the Far East region and make further suggestions about their possible participation.

Within the planned program, on January 22 the delegation visited the Heavy Engineering Corporation Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd (ZPMC) and familiarized themselves with the particularities of production of marine and lifting equipment at the corporation work yard.

In addition, during the trip the General director of FSUE “Rosmorport” met with representatives of China's seaports administrations and familiarized himself with the infrastructure of the sea deep-water ports of Shanghai and Tianjin.
