Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Visits Onezhsky Ship Building and Ship Repairing Plant
During the visit Maxim Sokolov looked at the progress of construction of two buoy boats and four work boats with ice strengthening. In 2015-2018 another three mud boats and two work boats are to be built. The portfolio of orders for the shipyard costs almost 1.7 billion roubles.
FSUE “Rosmorport” is the sole participant in Onezhsky Ship Building and Ship Repairing Plant, OOO (a limited liability company). Resumption of the largest regional plant has a great strategic and social importance, as the shipyard is to hire more than 1000 employees of different professions.
