On 29 October 2015 the FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko conducted a work meeting to discuss the progress of construction of berth No. 88 in the Big Port of Saint-Peterburg in the framework of his visit to Saint-Petersburg.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy General Director for Capital Construction of FSUE “Rosmorport” Alexey Nemkov, Director of the North-Western Basin Branch Sergey Pylin, representatives of the general contractor and author of the project.

Berth No. 88, which is being constructed in the Big Port of Saint-Petersburg, is part of the project for the reconstruction of a container terminal and is designed for unloading and loading of large-tonnage containers from/to container ships. The estimated number of port calls at berth No. 88 is 180 per year, whereas the project container handling capacity of the terminal is 300 thousand TEUs per year.
