From 01 October 2015 Onezhsky Shipbuilding and Ship Repairing Yard opens its official website. It will be available at http://www.rmp-osby.ru/.

Starting from tomorrow Internet users will be able to learn about the produce manufactured at the shipyard, and about ships being under construction, modernization and repairs. A special section of the website will be dedicated to the new production technologies used at the shipyard.

At the official website of Onezhsky Shipyard Internet users will find latest news from the shipyards and its history. The photogallery will present the working results of the shipyard employees, as well as photo reports of the main ship construction stages.

The shipyard was founded in 2002 on the basis of the ship repairing capacities of the Belomor-Onega shipping company created in 1944. In 2001 the shipyard stopped its activities, and the company turned bankrupt. In the end of 2014 it was decided to resume production and to transfer ownership of the shipyard to the state.

Nowadays Onezhsky Shipyard is a subsidiary enterprise of FSUE “Rosmorport” carrying out construction and repairs of ships. Resuming activities of the shipyard is of great strategic and social importance, as it allowed to create new jobs.
