Rosmorrechflot Administration Conducts a Meeting in Ust-Luga Seaport
The participants discussed issues connected with dredging in the seaport waters. Heads of Rosmorrechflot and FSUE “Rosmorport” examined port facilities and facilities under construction: auxiliary fleet base (including 5 berths with total width of 532 metres) and protecting structure.
In Ust-Luga seaport transloading of bulk (coal, ores, fertilizers), liquid (oil, oil products, liquefied petroleum gas), wooden, general (metals) cargo, containers and cargo at ferries.
Cargo turn-over in the seaport has reached 75.6 mln tons in 2014, that exceeds the rates of 2013 by 20.3% – 62.8 mln tons.
In 8 months of 2015 the seaport cargo turn-over has reached 57.1 mln tons, including dry cargo (18.6 mln tons) and liquid cargo (38.5 mln tons) rates. Compared to the year 2014 the turn-over has increased by 15.5% or by 7.6 mln tons. According to the plans of Ust-Luga seaport development up to 2020 cargo turn-over will reach 180 mln tons.
