FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko participated in a regular meeting of Marine Board under the Government of the Russian Federation, which took place on 8 September 2015 in premises of FSUE “Central research institute of shipbuilding industry “Centre” in Moscow.

The participants discussed draft of the federal law on maritime activities governmental control that focuses on creation of a modern governmental control system and realization of national potential in marine sphere. As it was emphasized by the participants, the draft law is to become the basic act to link other federal laws on relations in marine activities.

Other topic of discussion was program of a new shipbuilding industrial klaster creation on the Far East of Russia. At the klaster the whole chain of production will be performed to establish a platform for sharing knowledge and experience in shipbuilding and also attract additional investments into the economics of the region. Realization of this project will increase competitiveness and industrial potential of the Russian shipbuilding industry both at international and national markets.

The third section of the agenda – “Miscellaneous” – was represented by FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko, who made a report on architectonic and compositional concept in exploitation of “Marine House” (Cultural centre for sailors) in Saint-Petersburg. The presentation covered preliminary offers of further exploitation of “Marine House” and its intend use.
