Starting from 11 September 2015 in Museum-Panorama the Battle of Borodino exhibition "Za dobroy nadezhdoy" ("For good hope"), dedicated to sailors and navigation itself, is open for visitors. At the exhibition unique exhibits from FBI "Museum of marine fleet" collection, ships of different periods and types are represented, so the visitors can follow development of marine facilities and navigation in time.
 
FSUE “Rosmorport” has taken active part in creation of the historical exposition. The enterprise donated type EM-100 and EM-140 electrical lanterns used at light-houses, illuminated leading beacons and buoys. After they became widely spread in 70 – 80th of the previous century the lanterns were successfully used by the Arkhangelsk Branch of the enterprise in its work, mainly to locate and navigate a ship at sea.
 
The exhibition on nautical topic will work till 13 December 2015. It is worth emphasizing that the unique project that tells about relationship between a human and the might of the sea plays not the least role in patriotic education of the younger generation and strengthens respect for glorious past of Russia – sea power.
