In accordance with the Order of the President of the Russian Federation dated 19 May 2015 the Eastern Economic Forum will be held in Vladivostok starting this year. The first forum will take place on 3 September at Far-Eastern Federal University on Russky Island.
 
The central topic will be sustainable economic growth at the Far-East. The next issue is international cooperation widening in the Asia-Pacific Region. The forum agenda also includes issues on territories with faster growth, independent port of Vladivostok and possible state support of investment projects.

The Eastern Forum is not limited by business program only; it also has the cultural one that involves assigned to FSUE “Rosmorport” Nadezhda sailing ship. The sailing ship meets guests of the forum on the road near Russky Island and is open for excursion for all who want visit the fabulous vessel. At night all the participants of the forum will have an opportunity to enjoy a light show on board of the ship.
