General Director of FSUE "Rosmorport" Andrey Tarasenko has participated in a joint meeting of the Rosmorrechflot Board and social council under Rosmorrechflot which took place on 3 July 2015 chaired by Acting Head of Rosmorrechflot.

Deputy Minister for transport of Russia Viktor Olersky, Adviser of Minister for transport of Russia Aleksandre Davydenko, the social council chairman, special representative of President of the Russia Federation for international cooperation in the Arctic and Antarctic, president of transregional non-government organization “Polar explorers alliance“ Artur Chilingarov and others took part in the meeting.

Viktor Olersky congratulated the audience on approaching professional holiday and expressed gratitude for transport support provided for the events dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941 – 1945 and handed letters of thanks from Mintrans of Russia to employees of Rosmorrechflot subordinate enterprises.  

In the meeting agenda there were issues of navigation in inland waterways in 2015. As noted, the present navigation is carried out in not easy conditions of low water content, at several given areas of inland waterways of Azovo-Donskoy, Volzhsky, Baikal-Angarsk and Moscow-river basins levels lower than project marks have been noted. Taking in account the continuous unfavourable for navigation hydraulic conditions, the administrations of inland waterways basins set limits on vessels’ drafts at paths with the total length of 969 km. The current limits still remain at rate 573 km. Navigation safety becomes the primary goal in such conditions.

Also during discussion the participants talked about actions on achievement of Performance plan rates calculated up to 2018.
