On 15-16 April 2015 Deputy General Director for Navigation Safety of FSUE “Rosmorport” Viktor Vanyukov went on a business trip to Makhachkala.

During the trip Viktor Vanyukov inspected GMDSS and VTS facilities, aids to navigation and hydraulic engineering structures of Makhachkala Seaport. Also he visited the Albatros boat, which had been bought for the branch in February 2015. The boat will be used for survey works in the waters of Makhachkala Seaport and adjacent sea areas.

In the end of the trip V.Vanyukov met the branch’s department managers to discuss dredging in the approach canals and in the waters of Makhachkala Seaport, as well as development and modernization of navigation safety provision system and prospects for creation of a pilotage service in the branch.
