On 22-23 September 2014 the delegation of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of the Republic of Korea headed by Deputy Department Director Mr. Jang Jin Su made a visit to Vladivostok on invitation of FSUE “Rosmorport”, in order to establish cooperation in the field of the Far Eastern seaports infrastructure development.

Within the schedule of the visit the guests from South Korea visited the seaports of Vladivostok, Vostochny and Nakhodka, where they reviewed the port infrastructure facilities.

General Director Andrey Tarasenko conducted a working meeting with the South Korean delegates, which proceeded in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

In the course of the meeting its participants discussed a wide range of issues, in order to make closer contacts between FSUE “Rosmorport” and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of South Korea in the field of port infrastructure development in the Far East.

The representatives of the South Korean ministry were demonstrated a presentation of the project for the construction of a container terminal in Petropavlovask-Kamchatsky Seaport, the agreement for realization of which had been signed on 5 September current year. Besides, they had a look at the project for development of Sakhalin seaports, which had been elaborated by the marine terminal operators of those seaports.
