Agreement on Intentions for International Moscow Terminal Building for Mooring of Cruise and Cargo-and-Passenger Ships in the City of Pionerskyi of the Kaliningrad Region

On the 19 September 2014 in Sochi, within the International investment forum, the Agreement on Intentions for International Moscow terminal building for mooring of cruise and cargo-and-passenger ships in the city of Pionerskyi of the Kaliningrad Region was signed.


The document was signed by General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” Andrey Tarasenko, Governor of the Kaliningrad Region Nikolay Tsukanov and chairman of “MSC Group” mister Roberto Martinoli.


The Agreement was signed in order to ensure collaboration of the parties in the process of designing, building and operation of the International terminal built to provide service for cruise and cargo-and-passenger ships in Kaliningrad Region, as well as for further strengthening of the relationship in the field of cruise maritime industry.


International sea terminals building will improve the quality of tourism services in Kaliningrad Region, and will make the region substantially more accessible to the tourists who prefer active holidays.  
 
According to the plan, during summer navigation (not less than 4 months a year) the ships cruising in the Baltic Sea with passenger turnover about 3 500 persons per a ship entry will be serviced.
