Pursuant to paragraph 2 of the Resolution of the Government of Russia dated 28.12.2012 No. 1452 “On the storage, maintenance, providing safe moorage and return of the detained or arrested vessels, compensation to owners of ports infrastructure the costs associated with the storage of vessel and crew life support” in 32 seaports of Russia by the Ministry of Transport of Russia order dated 5.08.2014 No. 219 the anchorage areas for the detained or arrested vessels were determined.
 
Within the specified anchorage areas in the seaports the arrested or detained vessels are placed in accordance with the decisions of the officers of the border or customs authorities of Russia.
 
The order of the Ministry of Transport of Russia in the prescribed manner will enter into force 10 days after its official publication.
